These tests, conducted both in laboratories and on-site, ensure that the artificial turf meets the specific requirements for recreational use, training, and grassroots football, typically supporting 40-60 hours of play per week. Pitches that achieve FIFA Quality certification are distinguished by their slightly softer playing surface compared to those with FIFA Quality Pro certification, making them ideal for broader community use.
FIFA Quality Pro Certification
FIFA Quality Pro certification is awarded to football pitches that meet the highest standards of performance and safety, specifically required for professional-level play. This certification involves a more stringent testing process, which includes strict guidelines for pitch dimensions and the prohibition of logos, ensuring full compliance with international match standards. Maintaining a FIFA Quality Pro-certified pitch is inherently more demanding than maintaining a FIFA Quality-certified pitch, requiring meticulous and advanced maintenance practices to preserve the pitch's performance over time. This includes adhering to specific criteria, such as limiting ball roll length to a maximum of 8.0 meters.
